Bonus Miles alert! American Airlines has launched a bonus miles promotion if you book flights by May 18th, 2020. Flights departing between July 1st and December 31st, 2020 will gain you an extra 500 bonus miles on top of the miles you already gain from the flight.
How it Works
You’ll first need to register for this promotion at American Airlines website before you book a flight. You’ll gain an additional 500 miles on top of what you’re already awarded with your booked flight. You can earn a maximum of 5000 bonus miles with your newly booked flights. Also! If you rent a car with either Avis or Budget, you’ll earn an extra 500 bonus miles.

Taking advantage of this promotion is good if you must travel between July 1st and December 31st, 2020. If something comes up and you need to cancel the reservation, you have the option to do so without fees. As for health safety, American Airlines is requiring all passengers, with the exception of very small children, to wear a face covering.
