The School of Travels: Diving Deep into the Creative Process and Making Time to Write
What does travel have to teach us? How does travel change us? Join host Becky Gillespie as she dives into these questions and shares travel stories from the road.
Becky Gillespie, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, fell in love with travel on a study abroad trip in Europe, while climbing through hostel windows to get to her bed and meeting cute Italians on the beaches in Greece! One year later, she packed her bags for Tokyo, Japan to try her luck as an English teacher and quickly decided to make Tokyo her base for launching her plans for worldwide travel domination. After traveling to 60+ countries, trekking to Everest Base Camp, hiking the Inca trail, exploring the world’s largest cave in Vietnam, eating the spiciest of food in Bhutan, and dancing tango in Argentina, Becky launched The School of Travels, a podcast about what travel has to teach us with interviews from people whose lives have been changed by the power of travel. She is now a location independent freelance editor with a passion for trying new things, singing karaoke at the top of her lungs, and finding fellow travelers with amazing stories to share on her podcast. Becky believes that travel has a lot to teach us if we take the chance to get out on the road and realize our travel dreams.
