Hertz has announced a partnership with CLEAR to give their Gold Plus Rewards® members a new level of speed and convenience – for FREE.
CLEAR is a subscription membership service that allows users the ability to use biometrics to expedite their wait at security checkpoints. Available at a growing number of airports and arenas, their partnership with Hertz now brings the convenience to car rentals as well.
The normal rate for CLEAR membership is $179 per year, with an additional $50 per family member (remember, children under 18 receive free access with members).
Hertz Fast Lane Powered by CLEAR
Hertz Fast Lane uses CLEAR’s platform to confirm it’s really you so you can exit the gate in 30 seconds or less*. Here’s how it works.
Hertz Fast Lane powered by CLEAR is currently available at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. More than 40 locations will be available at U.S. airports in 2019 including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), among others.
New to CLEAR? Use this Promotion from Hertz for Up to Six Free Months
Your free CLEAR account gives you access to Hertz Fast Lane, as well as convenient entrance to select stadiums and arenas across the country.
However, using CLEAR at airport security requires a paid plan. Gold Plus Rewards members enrolling in CLEAR are now eligible for a complimentary airport security membership trial. Once you enroll, you’ll recieve an email with additional details about your free trial.
Once your free trial expires, you can continue your CLEAR airport access for the preferred price of $129 for one year. This special pricing is only available for first time CLEAR members (who have not previously enrolled in CLEAR).
