United Airlines has seen almost a twenty-fold increase in the number of complaints to the Department of Transportation at a time when 90% fewer passengers are flying. On this episode of Miles to Go, Ed is joined by Richard Kerr from The Points Guy to talk about United’s recent changes. This includes removing their partner award charts from their website and increasing the number of points required for most of those awards.
Oh, and they also redefined part of the English language. United Airlines is also making it increasingly difficult to cancel flights. There are frequent reports of customers not being able to get refunds.
