These 10 Safety Measures May Be Enough to Get Travelers Traveling Again

A big question that is on a lot of people’s minds is, “When will it be safe to travel again?”

While the answer to that question is sort of still up in the air, there are studies being done to find out what it will take to get people to travel again.

And many have spoken.

The study discovered these 10 safety measures should be in place to help give travelers peace of mind when booking both domestic and international flights.

  1. Enhanced cleaning and/or disinfection
  2. Access to sanitizing gel/wipes, face masks and gloves
  3. Social distancing
  4. Temperature checks
  5. Mandatory wearing of face masks
  6. Fully flexible or refundable tickets
  7. Improved air filtration
  8. Contactless services
  9. Plexiglass at check-in
  10. Managed boarding by row

Travelers are requesting that not just airports adopt these safety measures, but that all points of contact throughout such as hotels and rental car companies have these in place as well.

But is it enough for travel to be deemed as safe again?
