From our experience, as of recently, United’s upkeep in cleanliness has been close to last place. However, United manages to remain near first when it comes to a seamless upgrade system.
In the past, the process was not nearly as consistent. Now, the process is the same across the board, notifying every passenger (that opts-in for texting notifications) of their seat assignment and upgrade eligibility.
