One of the oldest independent coworking spaces in the world, Indy Hall opened in 2006. As a freelancer, founder Alex Hillman realized that working by yourself could be pretty lonely. He wanted to find a way to experience the camaraderie of engaging with coworkers in the office, but for those who worked remote from home or in cafes. The rest? Well… coworking history.
