Universal Orlando Kicks Off Halloween with 2 Spooky Haunted Houses & More!

Universal Orlando is not giving up on Halloween this year! The theme park normally hosts Halloween Horror Nights for the month of October, but has decided to call off those festivities this year, due to COVID-19. However, they still have some events in store for you to get your spook on. Universal Orlando’s Halloween events are on from Oct. 3-Nov. 1.

And if you’re a Florida resident, Universal Orlando has a deal going on right now! You can buy a day, and visit every day thru Dec. 24 for free.

2 Totally Scary Haunted Houses

For adults and teens over 13, this is a crazy way to get spooked at Universal Studios. The themes include: Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives and Revenge of the Tooth Fairy.

Costumes are allowed throughout the park, but keep in mind there are costume guidelines you must follow.

Trick or Treating at Islands of Adventure

The kids don’t have to miss out on the fun either! Kids 12 years and younger with an accompanied adult can participate in this event. Stores in the park will be giving out candy.

Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store & Make-Up Show

There’s no Halloween Horror Nights this year, but you can experience what it’s like at the Tribute Store. Located at Universal Studios, you can check out 4 themed rooms that totally give off the traditional Halloween Horror Nights vibe.

In the same park, you can also learn how to apply Halloween makeup and special effects like you see done in movies at the Horror Makeup Show!

Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt

Universal Studios wants you to go on a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt. At the ticket window you can grab a brochure helping you find the 13 scarecrows and skeletons all around the park so that you can win a candy bag.
