Delta is establishing the airline’s first Global Cleanliness Division. This new department is within the Customer Experience organization to innovate and evolve their cleanliness standards.

The Global Cleanliness organization will further develop and execute Delta’s cleanliness standards. So this includes methods and quality management across facilities and aircraft for employees and customers, alike.

Other Airline’s Cleaning Efforts

United Airlines also has a system solely dedicated to the cleaning protocols of planes. And while there isn’t a designated team, they now have ways to inform customers about the cleaning protocols of the planes.
