Lesson 20: Taking the Plunge into Location Independence with Geography Professor, Biohacker, and First-Time Nomad Nathan Wright
For 10 years, Nathan Wright dreamed of getting the chance to travel for a long length of time again, like he had back in college for a summer in Austria. This summer, he finally achieved his dream of becoming 100% location independent and I caught up with him two months into his experience living life on the road at Coworking Bansko in Bansko, Bulgaria. In this podcast, we cover it all: from Nathan’s early days growing up on a farm in Kentucky to becoming a geography professor, biohacker, and cold river plunger (you’re going to have to listen to find out exactly what I’m talking about here). Nathan is a guy with a huge amount of curiosity about life and I think you will really appreciate the things he has to share with us. I think he will be future podcast host himself – you heard it here first!
Covered in this episode:
- Nathan’s 10-year journey towards location independence
- Biohacking tips including how to sleep better, intermittent fasting, and the importance of hormesis
- Nathan’s packing tips for digital nomads
- The difficulty of nomad relationships
